The Orvis Recon combines top-tier performance in a rod designed for durability and versatility. Perfect for being tossed in the back of a truck, strapped to a pack, or stored in a floatplane pontoon, it employs construction techniques inspired by our Helios series. This results in an incredibly tough rod with increased hoop strength for better lifting, precise tracking for long-distance casts, and smooth loading at close range. Recon is made to adaptwhether youre sneaking baitfish patterns under mangroves or exploring pockets in headwater creeks. It features no unnecessary embellishments, just durable versatility crafted in the USA by anglers who value stories over likes. Its available in 13 new freshwater and six saltwater models.
