The UD Chair by TOLIX is a faithful reinterpretation of Jean Pauchard’s 1958 original, created specifically for the University of Dijon and identified by the distinctive ‘UD’ label. Crafted entirely from steel, it impresses with a streamlined silhouette, featuring a perforated backrest, tubular structure, and slender, curved tubing. Rooted in mid-20th-century traditions, its design seamlessly fits into contemporary interiors, embodying a harmonious blend of history and modernity. Beyond showcasing TOLIX’s artisanal expertise, the all-steel UD Chair pays homage to Jean Pauchard’s vision, making it an excellent choice for those seeking to introduce an iconic design piece into their space.
