Reissued in 2024, the story of the T37 Woven Chair dates back to 1935, when the city of Paris launched public tenders in preparation for the 24th Universal Exposition in 1937, leading to the creation of the T37 Chair. In 1948, Xavier Pauchard envisioned and developed a woven pattern that combines the lightness of its geometric lines and the delicacy of its weaving, contrasting with the durability and simplicity of steel. He incorporated this pattern into the seat of the timeless T37. Thus, the T37 Woven Chair was born.
